Dr. Mihordin received her medical education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed Internal Medicine residency, an additional year as chief medical resident, and fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Mihordin is currently Board Certified in Rheumatology. She holds memberships in the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Midwest Rheumatology Association, and the Kansas Medical Society. She is also an active member of the Leadership Council for the Arthritis Foundation’s Kansas City chapter. What is a D.O.?
A rheumatologist is a specialist in the diagnosis, treatment, and medical management of various forms of arthritis and rheumatologic diseases. Rheumatologists have completed training in Internal Medicine and sub-specialty training in Rheumatology.
